Training

Training for schools and organisations that support children and/or young people with a diagnosis of autism is available. Each training module typically lasts three hours

1. Understanding Autism. This training will cover the following topics:

· What is autism

· Executive Functioning

· Theory of mind

· Stimming

· Masking

· Autistic fatigue

· Sensory Processing

2. Positive Behaviour Support: This training will cover the following topics:

· What is positive behaviour support

· Functions of behaviour

· Finding the functions of behaviour

· Proactive strategies

· Reactive strategies
